OPERATING UNDER THE GIVING GRACE
Text: Matthew 20: 1-13, 2 Corinthians 8:9
For our Financial Destiny to change:
- We need to understand “HOW GOD GIVES”
- God gives according to REQUEST: – Matthew 7:7
- God gives according to NEED.
- God gives according to SEED.
- God gives according to MOTIVES: – Luke 17: 12-19
- God gives according to the vastness of the resources in GLORY (Philippians 4:19)
- God gives FREELY (Free Gifts) (Romans 8:32)
- God gives according to FOREKNOWLEDGE (Romans 8:29-30)
- God gives according to our responses to his son JESUS CHRIST (the word)
- God gives according to COVENANT (Matthew 13:11)
- God gives in ABUNDANCE (John 10:10
- God gives according to ABILITIES (Matthew 25:15)
- God gives according to measure of GRACE (Ephesians 4:7, 1 Peter 5:5, James 4:6)
- We need to RECEIVE THE GIVING GRACE
- The natural tendency is for you to HOLD ON to what you think you have as a means of SURVIVAL, but the supernatural requirement is for you to GIVE-UP to GROW-UP.
- GRACE is an EMPOWERMENT to get things done.
- Every result in life is a product of an empowerment or power display.
- Your ability to get results in life is not guaranteed by principles, it is enhanced by power. Acts 1:8, Acts 10:38.
- Wealth and riches in the kingdom of God is not an achievement, not an attainment, nor an accomplishment, it is by ENTRUSTMENT.
The grace upon Jesus had a dual mission
- He had grace to be rich.
- He had grace to give riches (Transfer Wealth)
Examples of people with given grace in the Bible:
- Abraham
- Solomon (2 Chronicles 1:6)
- The Macedonian Church (2 Corinthians 8:1-4, 7)
How to operate under given GRACE
- Give according to what you have received (1 Peter 4:10)
- Give faithfully (1 Corinthians 4:2)
- Surrender all to God (Matthew 6:24, Luke 9:23, Romans 12:1)
- See yourself as STEWARDS and not OWNERS of divine resources (1 Corinthians 4:1, Matthew 20:8)
How to operate under given GRACE
- You will abound in God’s giving wealth (2 Corinthians 9:8-12)
